Yah's Karate Training Plan for the Flall
Friends and karateka,
In the past few weeks, we have thought a lot about how to go about training in the Fall while still prioritizing the health and safety of our students and their families.
With this in mind, we have decided to continue with our current approach, which has proven very successful this summer.
Our plan is as follows:
Rather than returning to our indoor dojo space, we will train outdoors in a convenient location practicing proper social distancing. This will decrease the likelihood of physical contact or the spread of disease.
Students are encouraged to wear masks when coming to and from training and are free to wear them while training as well.
While karate is still our main focus, our lessons will also include other sports. As a competitive baseball player and overall sports fanatic, Sensei Loren is qualified and excited to share her passion for all athletics. Practicing different sports not only gives our students the opportunity to explore new activities, but shows them how karate training improves their overall strength, stamina, and coordination.
While we are willing and excited to take on new students, we ask that you please contact us prior to registering if you are considering signing yourself or your child up for lessons. This will help us ensure that our class sizes are reasonable and that we are adhering to government sanctioned guidelines put in place to keep everyone safe.
For those who may not yet feel comfortable with any sort of group training, Sensei Loren also offers private lessons both online and in person. One-on-one lessons can be taken in place of as well as in addition to group training. If this is of interest to you, please contact Sensei Loren directly to find a schedule that works for you.
